Lisp : Easy Clouds

Easy clouds Lisp program help you to place revision cloud easy and in proper layer,
it will also help you to remove clouds from your drawing.

Place Clouds
Steps :
       1. Download Easyclouds.lsp Click here...
       2. Load lisp file and Add to startup suite
3. Draw rectangles or polylines in your layout space
    (please start from top right corner to bottom left corner)



4.    Enter command CD to convert this objects to cloud
a.    Type Revision Number
b.    Enter Length of arc
c.    Then select objects






After adopting the lisp, the cloud will place as a new block (Rev-00) under a new layer(Rev_cloud) automatically.

Remove Clouds

1.    Type command CDR to remove cloud
a.    If you are in Model space,
     You will get an alert “ Please Switch to Layout ”.


b.    If your drawing doesn’t have layer Rev_cloud,
    You will get a message “ No Revision Cloud Found ”.




Note : Remove clouds will work properly in those drawings which placed by the same lisp .

Tip : Add tangent circle lisp to “Startup Suite” it will helps to load lisp Automatically

  2. Hi mate, just passing through, this program is very good, i just experienced something i can't find an answer. Your lisp works on some drawings but doesn't work on some. What could be the solution? Attached below is the error message that i got.

    Command: cd
    Value must be positive and nonzero.

    Requires numeric distance or second point.
    ; error: An error has occurred inside the *error* functionFunction cancelled

    Specify height <3.500>:
    Specify rotation angle of text <0d0'0.00">: *Cancel*

  8. Will easyclouds.lsp work with autocad 2002? I think this is the program i used to use on my old computer. I know i have it loaded because i see it in the application box. However when i type "CD" at the command box, this is the response i get.

    Layer "Rev_cloud" already exists.

    If it will work in autocad 2002, what do i need to do to get it to work?
