Tip : Reset Dimension Text Value

         It is very important that the dimension should  incorporate with the geometry. To save time some users  edit the dimension instead of modifying the geometry.

In the below image you can see 4 dimensions, in that 2 of them are edited ,if you have lots of dimensions it is not easy to find out which dimension is correct and which one is edited.

There is a command in EXPRESS tools called RESET DIM TEXT VALUE

Command : DIMREASSOC

Pulldown Menu : EXPRESS -> DIMENSION -> RESET DIM TEXT VALUE

Steps:

• When you load command you will be prompted to  “Select Objects: “
• Select dimensions or type “ALL”
• Now you can see the autocad has selected the dimension that are needed to reset

• Press Enter to reset text Dimension value.

Note:

• (If you want to review the modified dimensions please use select previous command to change its layer or color)
